I have a dream. My dream is to explore the world. I want to go everywhere and I want to see everything.
Unfortunately, I am currently living on a student’s budget so I will have to modify this just a bit. Let’s just stick to Toronto for now.

I’ve lived 30 minutes from Toronto for most of my life. Yet I’ve never actually experienced Toronto.
Don’t get me wrong. Living in the suburbs has its advantages. If you’re ever in need of a commercial shopping mall or big box restaurant, you’ve got your pick! If you’re feeling too lazy to drive to the grocery store down the street - don’t fret, you’re not alone!
Now, it’sĀ not as if I’ve never been to Toronto. I’ve spent a lot of time there, and I still do. Memories from my childhood include day trips to the Eaton Centre and Harbourfront. More recent memories include the oh-so-exciting neighbourhoods that are the Entertainment District and King West. But my experiences of the big city end here - at destinations typical of the average tourist.
It’s time to step outside the box. I am on a mission to discover all there is in this concrete jungle we call Toronto. I will bask in the sun on a patio, have breakfast at St. Lawrence Market, feel the thrill of climbing a rock wall, getting a tattoo, or going skydiving. I want to visit every restaurant that has been renovated on Restaurant Makeover.
Goodbye suburbia. Hello concrete jungle.
Who says you have to get on a plane to have an adventure? This is my life. I make the rules.
Welcome to my urban adventure.
